Mathematical Modelling of a Rolling Mill

Abstract:
A dynamic model of the cylinder position of a rolling mill has been obtained using physical equations. The model, and a control system for the model, has been implemented in Matlab Simulink. Simulations have shown that the model has successfully captured the general behaviour of a rolling mill.

This report contains the theoretical foundations for the model and a complete documentation and implementation.
